Our Story
It all started when I had my first serious boyfriend. We dated for a year and the day before high school was to start we broke up. I was crushed. I told my mom she had a very simply solution to ease the sadness I felt. "Break up shopping" She said lets go Break up shopping! From that time on any time my sister or I had a break up mom would take us shopping. It really did ease the pain of course mom now needed to have guidelines. It had to be a relationship longer then a day, a week or just a month!

When my sister had her first serious relationship it lasted for 2 years after they broke up she was devastated. I wanted to let her know I cared and was thinking of her. She was away at college and I was in another state, So I sent her a package. She was very touched to receive her break up gift!

I wanted to help other people to have a place where you could go and find that special something to send to your friend, sister or special person in your life that needs to know you care and are thinking of them through their difficult time. 

I hope you can enjoy the site and help give advise to other. Breaking up is never a fun thing to go through whether your the dumper or the dumpy. But just remember "Relationships are just stepping stones take away what you learned and grow."

It's not "YOU" it's "ME"
How many of us have heard that old line one too many times??  Well I know I have.  Your relationship has ended, you feel awful, and your still trying to figure out what went wrong.  The first step is to stop questioning your self! If it was meant to be, it will work out. What's more important is to take away from the relationship everything you've learned (about yourself, what you're looking for in a partner, how you've grown, the list goes on and on).

Break up Tips
• Get everything you need to say out of your system.  Chat with friends.  Write it on a piece of paper or in an email, you don't have to send it, just get the feelings out.
• Go out and have some fun!  Go for a run, go to the movies, grab a bite to eat with some of your friends.  I know it's hard but you never know where you just might meet that special someone.
• Set mini personal goals for yourself.
• A little retail therapy never hurts either

Chocolate Trap!
Feel free in your time of need to indulge a little...just do so in moderation.  This way you don't end up even more depressed or guilty once the sugar high has come down. Remember exercise is a great tool for increasing your energy and overall mood.

Grab some friends and head outside to enjoy the fresh air.  Or just take some time to yourself and take a nice long walk alone to clear your head.

Find a gym/exercise buddy to keep you motivated and allow you to feel free to indulge as needed without thee guilt.
